DIN 2080 Spindle Chucks with Weldon Shank
DIN 2080 spindle chucks are a reliable and versatile solution for all machine tools that adopt this standard. The front side is designed with a Weldon clamping system, allowing the use of cylindrical shank tools with a radial clamping flat. This ensures a rigid and secure grip, preventing tool slippage and reducing the risk of seizing, while guaranteeing optimal torque transmission even in heavy-duty machining.
These toolholders are ideal for milling, drilling and contouring operations, both on CNC machining centers and on traditional milling machines. They are manufactured with tapers compliant with the DIN 2080 standard and available in different ISO sizes, including ISO 30, ISO 40, ISO 50 and ISO 60. Furthermore, they are designed with internal coolant supply through a central channel, essential for tool cooling, efficient chip evacuation and increased cutting edge life.
Selecting the correct spindle chuck depends not only on the ISO taper size but also on the diameter of the bore for the insertion of the cylindrical shank tool with Weldon flat, which must match precisely. The tool seat is manufactured in H7 tolerance to ensure the accurate mounting of cylindrical tools produced in h6 tolerance, thus guaranteeing stability and dimensional repeatability.
