HOLZSTAR 5903505 Oscillating spindle sander, 450 W, model OSS 100 V, single-phase 230 V, with variable speed control for professional finishing of internal and external profiles
(Incl. Tax: €264.50)
OSS 100 V oscillating spindle sander for internal and external profiles, contours, arches, curves and irregular shapes. Equipped with 0.45 kW motor, variable speed 1,000 - 1,800 rpm, oscillation 29 - 52 rpm, 16 mm stroke, 320 x 300 mm table, Ø 39 mm extraction nozzle and sleeves Ø 13 / 19 / 26 / 38 / 51 / 76 mm. Ideal for woodworking, model making, workshops and precise finishing of shaped workpieces.
The OSS 100 V oscillating spindle sander is a compact professional machine for sanding contours, internal and external profiles, arches, curves, radii, shaped edges and irregular forms. It is particularly useful when a conventional belt or disc sander cannot correctly follow the geometry of the workpiece. Thanks to the combined rotating and oscillating spindle movement, the surface is processed more evenly, reducing local marks, overheating and uneven abrasive wear.
The OSS 100 V model is equipped with a 0.45 kW motor and 230 V power supply. The sanding speed is adjustable from 1,000 to 1,800 rpm, allowing the operation to be adapted to the material, workpiece shape and required finish. Lower speed is useful for controlled finishing, delicate materials or complex profiles, while higher speed allows greater material removal on tougher materials or preliminary sanding operations.
The oscillating spindle movement, with oscillation speed from 29 to 52 rpm and 16 mm stroke, distributes abrasive contact along the height of the sleeve. This system improves surface finish, extends abrasive sleeve life and reduces concentrated sanding marks on the workpiece. Oscillation is particularly advantageous when working on curved edges, internal openings, shaped profiles, templates, furniture components and non-linear geometries.
The machine uses abrasive sleeves with diameters Ø 13, 19, 26, 38, 51 and 76 mm. This range allows the most suitable diameter to be selected according to the radius or shape to be processed, providing better contact between abrasive and surface. Smaller diameters are suitable for tight radii, holes, internal profiles and closed curves, while larger diameters are ideal for wide contours, rounded edges and larger shaped surfaces.
The large cast iron table, measuring 320 x 300 mm, provides stable support for the workpiece during sanding. Table stability is important for maintaining control, especially on larger components or parts requiring accurate finishing along the profile. Holes for bench fixing allow the machine to be securely mounted, increasing precision and safety during use.
The compact and lightweight design makes the OSS 100 V easy to transport, store and use even in workshops with limited space. The 9 kg weight provides good operating stability while keeping the machine practical to handle. This makes it suitable for both fixed bench stations and use in workshops, laboratories, prototyping departments or training environments.
The integrated Ø 39 mm extraction nozzle allows connection to an external dust extraction system. Sanding wood and composite materials produces fine dust that can reduce visibility and dirty the working area. Connecting a suitable extractor helps keep the environment cleaner, improves visual control of the work and contributes to safer dust management.
The standard equipment is extensive and allows many different tasks to be started immediately. It includes 6 K80 abrasive sleeves in diameters Ø 13, 19, 26, 38, 51 and 76 mm, 6 matching inserts, 5 rubber-coated sanding drums with 115 mm height in diameters Ø 19, 26, 38, 51 and 76 mm, 3 spindle discs Ø 16, 20 and 35 mm and an assembly tool. This configuration makes it possible to quickly adapt the machine to different radii, profiles and shapes.
The OSS 100 V is suitable for woodworking, model making, furniture production, template making, finishing shaped profiles, processing curved components, rounding edges, cleaning internal cuts and preparing surfaces before painting, gluing or assembly. It is also useful in prototyping departments and technical schools, where different workpiece shapes must be processed with a simple, stable and versatile machine.
For good results, it is advisable to choose the sleeve diameter closest to the radius being processed, adjust the speed according to the material, keep the workpiece well supported on the table and guide it with moderate, constant pressure. Excessive pressure can wear the abrasive quickly, generate overheating or alter the profile geometry. It is also important to connect dust extraction, check sleeve condition and replace sleeves when material removal performance decreases.
The OSS 100 V oscillating spindle sander is therefore a practical and precise solution for finishing complex profiles. The combination of 0.45 kW motor, variable speed, rotating and oscillating spindle, 16 mm stroke, abrasive sleeves in different diameters, stable cast iron table, extraction nozzle and complete accessory set makes it ideal for woodworking shops, laboratories, workshops, model making and professional work on curved and irregular shapes.
