Slower feed speed promotes a more accurate finish, while higher speed allows faster processing when the material and required result permit it.

The open design on one side allows wider workpieces to be sanded by carrying out successive passes and turning the workpiece when required. This feature is useful when sanding panels or components wider than the nominal capacity, while still using a compact machine suitable for workshop use.

The rollers integrated on the top of the machine can be used as a support surface and make workpiece handling easier. The ZSM 450 AS includes an extraction system with Ø 75 mm nozzle. Sanding wood generates fine dust and abrasive residues that can affect visibility, dirty the environment and reduce working quality. Connection to a suitable extraction system and the included filter bag help keep the working area cleaner and more orderly, improving dust management during use.

The mobile base with brake makes it easier to move the machine around the workshop and position it where required according to the operation. Once positioned, the brake stabilizes the machine during use. This feature is particularly useful in workshops where space must be organized flexibly or where machines are moved according to the type of production.
