A key feature of these ER40 tap collets is the presence of neoprene sealing inserts that provide coolant sealing up to a maximum pressure of 25 bar. This system improves chip evacuation during tapping operations and enhances tool cooling, increasing tap life and ensuring high-quality threads even in demanding production environments.

Clamping occurs exclusively on the nominal tap shank diameter with tolerance h8, guaranteeing precise engagement without play. The internal square drive allows direct torque transmission, preventing slippage during threading and ensuring consistent machining performance.

ER40 ERC40MRF tap collets are designed for rigid synchronized tapping cycles and do not provide axial compensation. They must be installed in ER collet chucks equipped with eccentric extraction nuts to ensure correct mounting and safe removal.
