The ERC25M ER tapping collets with internal square, manufactured according to DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499), are designed for synchronized rigid tapping operations on CNC machines, machining centers and automatic lathes. The internal square drive ensures reliable torque transmission and prevents tap slippage during threading operations. Compatible with DIN 371, DIN 374 and DIN 376 taps, these collets clamp the tap shank on the nominal diameter with h8 tolerance, ensuring accuracy and stability. Clamping range Ø3.5–16 mm for M3–M20 tapping applications.

The ERC25M ER tapping collets with internal square, manufactured according to DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499) standards, are designed for synchronized rigid tapping operations on CNC machines, machining centers and automatic lathes, ensuring secure torque transmission and precise tool alignment during threading processes.

This ER collet design incorporates an internal driving square that engages with the square shank of the tap, preventing independent rotation between the tap and the collet. This mechanism ensures reliable torque transmission during tapping operations, eliminating slippage and maintaining stable cutting conditions even in high-production environments.

ERC25M collets are intended for use with standard taps according to DIN 371, DIN 374 and DIN 376, which are widely used in industrial threading applications. The clamping system locks the tap exclusively on the nominal shank diameter with h8 tolerance, guaranteeing excellent concentricity and repeatability during machining operations.

The ER collet system with its 8° taper and multiple elastic slots distributes the clamping force evenly along the tool shank, improving stability during rotation while minimizing vibration and ensuring extended tool life for both the collet and the tap.

The ERC25M series covers a clamping diameter range from Ø3.5 mm to Ø16 mm, allowing the use of taps for thread sizes from M3 up to M20, providing a highly versatile solution for a wide variety of industrial tapping operations.
