The ER20 solid sealed collets according to DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499) are designed for high-precision CNC machining with internal coolant tools. The Solid Sealed system ensures coolant sealing up to 120 bar, directing the coolant through the tool to improve cooling and chip evacuation during machining. With run-out accuracy ≤ 0.008 mm and a 1 mm clamping range progression, these collets provide high rigidity, stable rotation and reliable performance in milling, drilling and boring operations on CNC machine tools.

The ER20 solid sealed collet according to DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499) is designed for high-precision machining applications on CNC machine tools where tools with internal high-pressure coolant supply are required. Compared with standard ER collets, this design integrates a mechanical sealing system that prevents coolant leakage, allowing the cutting fluid to be directed through the tool channels directly to the cutting zone.

The coolant sealing function is achieved through the short front slots of the collet, which create a continuous contact surface between the tool shank and the collet body. This configuration prevents pressure loss and ensures that the coolant flows efficiently through the internal lubrication channels of the tool, improving cutting edge cooling and enhancing chip evacuation during machining operations.

The high manufacturing accuracy ensures an average run-out accuracy of ≤ 0.008 mm, guaranteeing rotational stability, reduced vibration and improved surface quality of the machined component.

The clamping range features a 1 mm progression, allowing precise and secure clamping of cylindrical shank tools. The collet structure includes a 4+4 segment design, which provides excellent rigidity and ensures uniform distribution of clamping forces along the tool shank.
