The ER20 sealed tap collets with square drive series ERC MRF, compliant with DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499), are designed for high-precision synchronized tapping operations on CNC machining centers, automatic lathes and modern machine tools. The integrated internal square drive ensures direct torque transmission from the spindle to the tap, providing a secure and stable connection during threading operations and preventing tool slippage.
This design clamps the nominal tap shank diameter with h8 tolerance, ensuring accurate and repeatable tool positioning. The collets are specifically designed for standard taps DIN 371, DIN 374 and DIN 376, widely used in industrial metalworking and precision machining applications.
