The MRF series collets are equipped with neoprene inserts that provide effective coolant sealing up to a pressure of 25 bar. Clamping occurs exclusively on the nominal tap shank diameter with tolerance h8, ensuring a precise and stable fit. This feature allows high concentricity during machining operations, reducing vibrations, geometric errors and deviations in the thread profile.

ER16 tap collets are designed for taps manufactured according to DIN 371, DIN 374 and DIN 376 standards and typically cover an application range from M4 to M10 depending on the internal square dimension. The system does not include axial compensation and must therefore be used exclusively on machine tools equipped with synchronized rigid tapping.
