The ER16 sealing collets with neoprene inserts and external coolant holes, compliant with DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499), are designed for high-precision CNC machining applications requiring efficient coolant control. The ER16 sealing collets with neoprene inserts and external coolant holes, manufactured according to DIN ISO 15488 (DIN 6499), are designed for high-precision tool clamping in CNC machining centers, milling machines and high-performance machine tools.

These collets feature a sealing system with a neoprene insert positioned in the 30° cone, ensuring effective coolant sealing and preventing fluid leakage. The coolant is directed toward the cutting zone through four frontal holes, allowing optimal cooling, lubrication and chip evacuation during machining operations.

The collet structure is designed with a 4+4 segment configuration, providing high rigidity and uniform clamping force distribution. This design ensures excellent performance and an average runout accuracy up to 0.008 mm, enabling stable machining even at high spindle speeds.

The collet offers a clamping progression of 0.1 mm, allowing precise matching with the tool shank diameter. To ensure proper coolant sealing, the tool shank diameter must correspond to the nominal diameter of the collet and must be inserted along the entire clamping length.

The maximum coolant pressure allowed is 25 bar, ensuring efficient cooling even in demanding machining operations. However, it is recommended to adjust the working pressure according to the tool diameter and machining conditions.

ER16 sealed collets are particularly suitable for milling, drilling and precision machining operations, where stable cutting conditions and extended tool life are required.
