Caporali chucks with MAS 403 (JIS B 6339) shank are designed for use on machine tools equipped with this type of interface. These chucks are highly versatile and capable of clamping rotating tools such as milling cutters, twist drills, and other tools with cylindrical shanks of various diameters and lengths.
Tool clamping is simple and reliable thanks to a transverse hex screw across the rotation axis. This solution ensures a stable lock, minimizing the risk of loosening during machining operations. Titanium jaws guarantee precise clamping and consistent force even after numerous use cycles.
The MAS BT 403 taper shank features a rear thread that allows the installation of various types of drawbars or retention knobs, making the chuck compatible with automatic tool change systems on machine tools.
For chuck versions intended for tools with shank diameters up to 16 mm, the screw clamping system allows for precise force application, which can be easily increased using a hex key in the case of larger tools or heavy-duty machining operations.
