The BORLETTI modular external micrometers are designed to provide highly accurate and stable measurements in the dimensional inspection of mechanical components.

The frame is made of laminated and stamped alloy up to 300 mm, while larger capacities use a tubular structure that ensures greater rigidity and reduced weight.

Readability is enhanced by the deeply engraved graduations and the clarity of the markings. The measuring faces are lapped and perfectly parallel, while the carbide-tipped anvils offer excellent wear resistance.

Each micrometer is equipped with four interchangeable anvils, each with a 25 mm length difference, allowing the entire 100 mm measuring range to be covered in modular steps.

The ratchet friction thimble ensures a constant measuring force, while the knurled locking ring, easily accessible, allows the measurement to be securely held.

Each instrument is supplied in a wooden case complete with setting standards, essential for maintaining maximum operational accuracy. Compliance with DIN 863 – UNI 5708 – ISO 3611 standards guarantees precision, repeatability and metrological reliability.
