772142 Modular pneumatic vice for workpiece clamping with collets 173E - F48 - BA42 suitable for machine tools, machining centers, drilling machines, transfer
(Incl. Tax: €999.18)
Pneumatic vices with collet clamping are used for clamping workpieces on production machines such as machining centres, transfers and drills and can also be used for mounting various parts. The workpiece is clamped by means of an interchangeable 173E main collet housed inside the device; the advantage over other clamping systems is the perfect centring of the workpiece. They are designed with a double-acting pneumatic system; both closing and opening of the gripper are pneumatic without the use of springs to return the sleeve. The external body of the chucking device is designed to be fixed on the machine tool in both horizontal and vertical positions. The pneumatic vices are made of certified high-alloy steel and are hardened and ground.
The dimensions correspond to the product chosen, but the drawing and images shown are indicative and not proportional.
- The modular pneumatic vice is designed with a double-acting pneumatic system featuring a lever-type power multiplier, which allows for a high clamping force despite the compact size being significantly smaller than that of standard pneumatic vices.
- Both the closing and opening of the clamping collet are pneumatic, with no springs used for the return of the sleeve.
- The support surfaces for vertical and horizontal clamping, as well as the collet closing system, are fully ground, ensuring a clamping linearity of <0.02.
- The collet closing system is made from highly alloyed case-hardened steel, tempered and hardened to 58 ± 2 HRC.
- The features of the vice make it suitable for both single use on traditional machines and serial use on machining centers.
- The standard supply includes two brackets for single mounting. (FIG. 1)
- Intermediate brackets for multiple clamping (FIG. 2) are available upon request.
- Additionally, a custom mounting plate can be built upon request, with dimensions tailored to the use of the vices mounted in blocks (FIG. 3).
