The series of smooth gauges with precision tolerance H7, in compliance with DIN 2245, is available in diameters ranging from 2 mm to 100 mm. These gauges are made of tool steel that is hardened, ensuring high wear resistance and exceptional durability. The H7 precision guarantees accurate and reliable measurements, although other tolerances (such as N7, H8, H6, E7, H9, G6) are available upon request, depending on the customer's specific needs.

The gauges are treated to achieve a hardness of 58 HRC ±2 HRC, providing optimal resistance for use in industrial and precision applications. Compliance with the DIN 2245 standard ensures that the gauges meet international quality and reliability standards.

On request, special versions can be provided, including custom designs, carbide versions, and customized sizes to meet specific requirements. Additionally, personalized sets are available, ideal for applications requiring multiple gauges with different tolerances. Accredia certification and calibration reports can also be requested to ensure the conformity and traceability of the products in high-precision contexts.

This series of smooth gauges is designed to offer versatile and high-quality solutions for dimensional control, providing a combination of precision, durability, and adaptability to the diverse needs of modern industries.

Smooth gauges are primarily used in industrial sectors that require high-precision measurements. Key areas of use include precision mechanics, where they are used for dimensional control and tolerance verification during machining operations on machine tools. In the automotive sector, these gauges are employed to ensure precision in machining automotive components. In the aerospace field, they are used to verify the precise tolerances of aerospace components, while in electronics, they are used for dimensional control of high-precision electronic components.

Additionally, smooth gauges are also applied in watchmaking, where they are used to measure watch parts and precision mechanisms accurately. They are also essential in the production of industrial equipment, for controlling dimensions and tolerances in tools and machinery components. In the medical sector, they are used in the production of medical devices that require tight tolerances and precise measurements. Finally, they are indispensable in prototyping and research and development, for testing components and prototypes with high-precision tolerances. In all these areas, smooth gauges ensure the quality, reliability, and precision of the workpieces.

Smooth gauges are mainly used for dimensional control and tolerance verification in machining processes.

Dimensional control: Smooth gauges are used to verify that the dimensions of a machined part conform to the required specifications. They are placed inside or around the part being measured, depending on whether it is a "pass" or "no pass" check. If the gauge fits or does not fit the part, it determines whether the dimensions are within the correct tolerances.

Pass/no pass method: This is one of the main applications of smooth gauges. A gauge "passes" if its diameter is smaller than or equal to the internal size of the part, and "does not pass" if its diameter is greater than the size of the hole or the part being measured. This method is particularly useful for quick and precise tolerance checks.

Verification of tight tolerances: Smooth gauges are used to check if a part meets the specified tolerances. If a gauge of the correct size does not fit or fits easily into the part, it is possible to determine if the tolerances are correct.

Fixing and continuous control: They can be used during the machining process to ensure that each part produced is within the required tolerances, helping to improve the quality of the final product.

Gauge sets: Gauges are often used as part of a set, which includes a series of gauges with different sizes. These sets are useful for measuring and verifying various parts of a piece efficiently.

Calibration and certification: Gauges need to be calibrated to ensure that measurements are accurate. For high-precision applications, they can be supplied with calibration certificates and conformity certificates (such as Accredia) to ensure the reliability of the measurements.

Smooth gauges are used to precisely control the dimensions and tolerances of machined parts, helping to ensure the quality and conformity of the finished product.
