Suitable inserts Röhm AZ for MZK revolving centering tapers - taper 75°
(Incl. Tax: €251.50)
Truncated conical tips for MZK Rohm tailstocks.

The truncated cone tip made of wear-resistant alloy steel, with hardened and ground body, is designed to support workpieces with large holes such as pipes, suitable for turning and grinding operations, offering maximum stability and wear resistance thanks to its standard configuration optimised for MZK tailstock.

Truncated conical cusp with a 75-degree angle to support and sustain drilled pieces on grinding, lathes or work and milling centers.
The cusp has been designed to be mounted on Rhom MZK model tailstocks with Morse taper attachment for connection to the machine tool. In order to best optimize the performance of the cusp, the tailstocks connecting to the machine tool are of three types:
Rotating type: It is mainly used on CNC lathes to support the drilled piece during turning and external cylindrical grinding operations of the piece
Rotating type with extraction ring: It is always mainly used on lathes, the difference compared to the rotating type consists in the use of the extraction ring for the removal of the MZK tailstock from the machine tool. This solution is excellent in the case where strong pressure is required against the piece and on the conical attachment.
Fixed type MZK: It is used to support the drilled piece on work centres and milling machines, in order to rigidly support the piece during the milling chip removal, avoiding any vibrations of the piece or the cutter during the machining of slots, face milling and more...
