The Digitronic special-execution digital caliper for external grooves is designed for accurate measurement of external grooves and slots using inward-facing cylindrical contacts that rest securely on the surfaces to be inspected. This configuration allows precise determination of groove width and position, making the tool ideal for splined shafts, retaining-ring seats and sealing grooves.
The sliding caliper body with 9.5 mm high-contrast LCD display ensures clear and immediate readability, even under poor lighting conditions. The electronic unit provides all key functions required for professional use: ON/OFF, auto OFF, origin, mm/inch conversion and preset, which allows a reference value to be set and speeds up repetitive measurements.
