BAKER K17S (Micromet Plus) dial indicator delivers long-term accuracy thanks to all-metal gearing and a rigid brass body. “Mounted on 8 jewels” means the internal movement runs on synthetic ruby bearing points, reducing friction and wear for smoother pointer travel, higher sensitivity and stable repeatability over time. Carbide tip, DIN 878, supplied with case, slotted back and inspection certificate.
BAKER Micromet Plus indicators are built for reliable dimensional inspection in production and quality control. The K17S combines an all-metal mechanism with a rigid brass body to improve structural stability and maintain performance under frequent use.
“Mounted on 8 jewels” refers to the use of synthetic ruby bearing surfaces within the movement. Ruby is extremely hard and wear-resistant, which translates into lower friction, smoother and more consistent pointer motion, and better sensitivity to small deviations, helping the indicator keep its repeatability for longer service life.
