2006000 RUPAC High-precision ground linear spirit level MicroMet series, size and resolution of your choice
(Incl. Tax: €146.40)
High-precision linear level designed for measuring flatness and angular deviations on machine tools and reference surfaces. Equipped with a high-sensitivity vial, available in 0.01 mm/m, 0.02 mm/m, and 0.05 mm/m versions, it ensures reliable measurements during alignment, installation, and maintenance operations. Ground base surfaces, also prismatic, allow use on flat and cylindrical parts. Compliant with DIN 877, ideal for metrology and quality control.
The high-precision ground linear levels are metrological instruments designed for measuring extremely small angular deviations, expressed in mm/m, and are essential for installation, verification, and maintenance operations in machine tools and precision mechanical systems.
The operating principle is based on a high-sensitivity vial containing liquid and a calibrated air bubble. The displacement of the bubble relative to the reference marks allows accurate determination of the inclination of the supporting surface. The instrument is available with sensitivities of 0.01 mm/m, 0.02 mm/m, and 0.05 mm/m, defining its capability to detect minimal variations in flatness and alignment.
The body is typically made of stabilized cast iron or steel and features precision-ground contact surfaces, often with a prismatic base to allow use on both flat and cylindrical surfaces such as shafts. This ensures high versatility in industrial applications.
These levels are primarily used for geometric inspection of machine tools, including CNC machining centers, lathes, grinding machines, and automated production systems. They are essential for machine base alignment, verification of guide straightness, and control of surface flatness during installation and calibration processes.
From an application standpoint, they are widely used in metrology departments, quality control, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as by machine tool manufacturers and industrial system integrators where high geometric accuracy is required.
The sensitivity must be selected according to the required precision level: 0.01 mm/m for high-end metrological applications and ultra-fine adjustments, 0.02 mm/m for precision workshop use, and 0.05 mm/m for general installation and less critical measurements.
These instruments comply with DIN 877 standards, ensuring reliability, repeatability, and consistent measurement performance.
