The hydraulic toolholder TENDO Slim 4ax JIS-BT40 delivers ultra-precision (<0.003mm at 2.5xD) and G2.5 balancing up to 25,000 rpm for high-accuracy axial/radial machining. Featuring h6 shank and reduction sleeves, it ensures maximum versatility. DIN 69873 chip flutes and ISO 7388 JD/JF coolant channels (JF ports sealed for transport) enhance performance.
Designed for automatic changes with axial adjustment screw (key excluded). ISO 69882-8 compliant for quick setup, durability, and Plug & Work operation. The Cool Flow variant’s dedicated channels provide superior tool-edge cooling.

Structurally, the hydraulic chamber system is filled with fluid, providing a damping effect on the clamped tool shank, while the expansion sleeve expands uniformly to center and clamp the tool shank securely along its full surface. The base body hosts the machine-side interface, while the adjustment screw enables quick and precise presetting of tool length with a tolerance of 0.01 mm and an adjustment range of 10 mm.
