The digital stroboscope uses the stroboscopic effect to analyse rapid movements, vibrations or periodic processes. Equipped with 9 high-intensity LEDs, it generates flashes of up to 1,500 lux, synchronised with the frequency of movement until the object appears motionless. Flash frequency is readable in FPM and Hz, with memory for 5 preset frequencies. The knob allows precise and quick adjustments, including doubling and halving the frequency. Brightness is adjustable from 10 to 100%, with a phase shift of -360...+360°. Rechargeable battery with autonomy of up to 8 hours.

The digital stroboscope utilizes the "stroboscopic effect" to analyze rapid movements, vibrations, or periodic processes. With a high-intensity light source of 9 LEDs, it generates flashes with a light intensity of up to 1,500 lux. These light bursts are emitted in sync with the frequency of the movement to be monitored, making the object appear stationary to the observer. This feature allows focusing on specific phases or characteristics of the movement, facilitating the detection of defects or irregularities in rotating or oscillating parts.

The flash frequency can be read in both FPM (flashes per minute) and Hz (hertz). The stroboscope has a memory for up to 5 preset flash frequencies, allowing quick and easy adjustment of the same frequency. The design allows for one-handed operation, simplifying the control and adjustment of settings. The flash frequency can be gradually adjusted using a knob, with increments of 10 and 100, as well as the ability to double or halve the flash frequency.

The LED brightness is adjustable from 10 to 100% according to specific needs, enabling both detailed analysis and broader illumination. The stroboscope also integrates an adjustable phase shift from -360° to +360°. Additionally, it is powered by a rechargeable battery with a runtime of up to 8 hours.

This tool is essential for anyone needing precise analysis of rapid and periodic movements, combining versatility, ease of use, and powerful features in a single device.

Stroboscopes: Indispensable Tools in Measurement Technology
Stroboscopes are essential tools for obtaining stationary images of moving parts. Used in various sectors, they are applied in printing to check printing rollers and in industry to determine the speed of rotating parts.

Define the Application
Before purchasing a stroboscope, it is crucial to define its specific application. The flash frequency is a key aspect: some industrial models reach frequencies of thousands of hertz, allowing optical inspection of rapid sequences.

Light Source
The type of light source is another important factor. Modern LED flashes, for example, are on par with xenon bulbs. Powerful LED arrays allow complete illumination of the object. Some models can expand the LED array to inspect large, moving parts like paper strips. There are also stroboscopes with UV LED light sources, used for non-destructive maintenance checks.

Light Source Trigger
Another selection criterion is the light source trigger. A simple flash has an internal regulator, while a more sophisticated stroboscope features a trigger input for external speed sensors. This ensures the flashes are always synchronized with the object's speed, useful when rollers rotate at different speeds, as in paper production or product testing.

Frequency and Phase Shift Adjustment
Modern stroboscopes also offer flash frequency adjustment and phase shift adjustment, briefly delaying the flash pulse to obtain an "optically rotating" image. This moves the marks of the moving parts to the correct position.

Power Supply
For portable stroboscopes, power is a key factor. If the use is occasional, a battery model is sufficient, but for frequent use, a model with rechargeable batteries is recommended. Fixed models are generally powered by a power supply or directly from the mains.

IP Protection Rating
The IP protection rating of the stroboscope indicates the level of protection against dust and water. For harsh environments, a model with IP67 protection is ideal, offering optimal protection from external environmental influences.
