Main collet - Feed finger - Bushes

Main collet - Feed finger - Bushes

Bar Bushing - Carbide bush - Feed finger - Main collets - Barloader Collets
Piece clamping collet - Tool clamping collets

Bar guide bushes used to guide the bar to be machined for mechanical and CNC lathes.

The adjustable hard metal bush is used in sliding headstock lathes to support the bar during machining of the workpiece. The HM guide bush is manufactured according to the diameter of the bar to be machined and the hole drilled in the bush is perfectly precise and smooth. Being cut transversely along the axis, by acting on a ring nut and counter nut, we can adjust the diameter of the hole so that the bar slides perfectly without interference and above all without play.

The feed finger is mounted inside the lathe spindle, on the bar push rod or on the automatic bar feeder of a lathe, is used to feed and push the bar forward to automatically produce all available parts, until the bar is exhausted. The feed finger is replaced for each change in diameter of the bar to be machined.

The bar clamp is mounted inside the spindles of a lathe and is used to clamp the bar or workpiece during the execution of a turning or drilling operation using cutting tools. The main collet is used on lathe, multi-spindle automatic lathes, CNC lathes, sliding headstock lathes, fixed headstock lathes, lathes with bar machining, workpiece reworking, component assembly, etc.

The purpose of the barloader collets for barfeeders is to advance the bar whenever the lathe has produced a part and is ready to start a new work cycle. The barloader feeder pusher grippers are housed on a lance. The end of the bar is inserted frontally into the collet, which holds it elastically by opening the petals.

The pick-up workpiece collet is mounted on the pick-up spindle or counter spindle to support the workpiece during the cutting operation or to perform any drilling or turning operations on the rear of the turned workpiece.

ER collets made of steel are used on all machine tools that use rotating tools (milling machines, CNC milling machines, machining centres, boring machines, drills, screwdrivers) as well as on machine tools where we have the workpiece in rotation (parallel lathes, automatic lathes, CNC lathes). The ER collet has a very wide range of uses, from joinery to mechanical engineering. ER collets come in different sizes, the number following the ER abbreviation (ER8, ER11, ER16, ER20, ER25, ER32, ER40, ER50) indicates the cone size and the maximum shank diameter that each model can hold.
